Hamidowns Privacy Notice
Hamidowns ("we," "us") is a one-person business run by Chris Weiss (KR4YON) in coastal Georgia. This notice explains, in plain terms, what information this website collects and what happens to it.
The short version
- This site has no accounts, no ads, and no analytics or tracking scripts.
- If you use the contact form, the information you type is emailed to us so we can reply. That's it.
- Product links go to Amazon. Once you click through, Amazon's own privacy policy applies.
Information you give us
When you send a message through the contact form, we receive your name, email address, the topic you pick, and your message. The form is delivered by Web3Forms, which passes the submission to our email inbox. If you call or email us directly, we receive whatever you choose to share.
We use this information only to answer your inquiry and, if you hire us, to do the work. We do not sell or rent it, and we do not add you to a mailing list.
Information collected automatically
Like nearly every website, the company that hosts this site may keep standard server logs (such as IP address, browser type, and the pages requested) for security and to keep the site running. This site itself does not set tracking cookies.
Amazon affiliate links
Hamidowns is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon.com. When you click a product link, you leave this site and Amazon may set cookies to credit the referral. See Amazon's Privacy Notice.
Keeping and deleting your information
We keep messages as long as needed to respond and to keep a record of work we've done for you. Email us any time to ask what we have or to have it deleted.
Children
This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information. If you believe a child has contacted us, email us and we will delete it.
Changes
If this notice changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new date.
